Headshots

A "look" is considered a single change of clothing, a single change of hair/makeup, or any combination of the two.

Choose colors that compliment your coloring and that make you look and feel great. 

Keep in mind:

• Solid colors are best for headshots - you are welcome to bring one pattern to have as an option

• Jackets and sweaters are great for layering and provide additional options for easily changing up a look

• Bring a couple of extra outfits, so that we have options

• Make sure all clothing is ironed and on hangers 

• Though we will be photographing mostly from the waist up, bring complete head to toe outfits so we have the option for whole body or three quarter length photos

Remember that hair and makeup are an essential component to great photographs. Arrive picture-ready with hair and makeup looking their best. For agency and audition photos, your look should not be over-done; simply look your best as you would for an audition. 

Professional hair and makeup stylists are available and can be reserved in advance.

Nails: Please come with clean manicured nails (fingers and toes). Assume that they will be shown in some of your photographs. You do not want to be limited because your nails are not presentable. :)

​Skin: Sunburns and bad spray tans are nearly impossible to retouch; be mindful of this when scheduling. In our experience, some spray tans can leave very splotchy and uneven skin tones which are not pleasing in a photograph. Blemishes can easily be retouched, but if you have bruising, scarring, or other major skin damage, please contact us in advance to discuss.

We specialize in helping you pose in the most natural and flattering way, optimizing the light, lens, and specifications to compliment your unique features and body type. We will guide you throughout the photo shoot to ensure you look your absolute best.

We highly recommend that any image you select be professionally retouched. Our full range of editing capabilities and experience ensures a very natural, yet flawless, edit. 

Your package includes a specified number of retouched digital images (see Session descriptions).

Your session begins promptly at the reserved time, so starting on time ensures you will receive the complete session you requested. Plan to arrive a few minutes early, and text us if you are running late for any reason. 

Your image will look its best if printed by a high quality photo lab. We offer prints from your shoot at a discounted rate, or we can suggest a local lab for printing. We also offer "Headshot Composites" with border and name. Discounted bulk printing is available for Headshot Composites.

Your images will be ready for viewing and selection via our easy to use secure website within three days of your photoshoot. Once you make your selections, you can expect to receive your beautiful final retouched digital images within three additional days. If you have an absolute deadline, please let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.

To reserve your appointment time, a non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. The balance due may be paid in full any time before the photoshoot and no later than when you arrive for your session. We accept Cash, Check, Credit Card, PayPal, and Venmo.

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hour notice and confirmation from us. Keep in mind that for on-location shoots, inclement weather may necessitate rescheduling, and we will work with you to arrange a new appointment day and time. 

If you decide to cancel your shoot or do not show up, you will forfeit your deposit. 

We take time to ensure that we get a wide variety of images from your shoot. You will always receive many more options than you could possibly need. Due to the artistic and subjective nature of photography, we do not offer refunds or re-shoots. One exception to this is, of course, if we have technical difficulties that prohibit us from completing our shoot and delivering the set amount of images. We take pride in making each client feel and look their best, so please know you are in great hands. We invite you to look through our galleries to ensure that you like our style of photography.
